What is Glycerin? Glycerin is a polar molecule; a water-soluble and versatile humectant, a substance that draws water. When applied to the skin, it either draws water from the skin's deeper layers or the air, making it a beneficial component of skincare products.  Glycerin can penetrate tissues, is edible, and may have numerous medical uses. When combined with ozone, it offers a number of unique benefits to users.
Glycerin is clear, sweet-tasting, odorless, colorless, non-toxic. Chemically classified as a sugar alcohol, it has the molecular formula C3H8O3. (3 carbon atoms, 8 hydrogen atoms, and 3 oxygen atoms) Sourced from organic coconut oil and USP certified for purity and performance.

What is Ozonated Glycerin (OG)? Ozonated glycerin is created by bubbling ozone gas through pure glycerin. Some ozone and oxygen gases dissolve in the glycerin, while the rest oxidizes the glycerin.  This produces byproducts of glycerol like peroxides, aldehydes, ketones, and acids.
Ozonated glycerin may be applied topically, gargled, ingested, nebulized or injected. Published studies suggest that it has antiviral, antibacterial, regenerative, and melanin-bleaching effects.

How to use Ozonated Glycerin?
Best way to apply the liquid directly to the affected area.  It can improve oral health. Ozonated glycerin may be used as a mouthwash or ingested in small amounts, with proponents claiming it can improve oral health or address gastrointestinal issues.
It is soluble in both water and oil, making it easy to blend into other topical or oral formulations. Can safely be added to other products - helping them work even better.

Ozonated glycerin half life at room temperature was believed was around 90 days. When is stored in refrigerated conditions, its half life extends to 18 months. For best result, we recommend to store it in the refrigerator to maintain potency.

Ozonized glycerin’s use is currently experimental and should be done under medical supervision. Ozonized glycerin is not FDA approved and a consultation with a physician is advised.
