What it is
Ozonated Glycerin is pure organic glycerin — a naturally-derived humectant — that has been infused with activated oxygen (O₃) under controlled conditions. The ozonation process bubbles medical-grade ozone (made from 99.9% pure oxygen) through the glycerin, producing a clear, fragrance-free liquid with a characteristic lightly "active" feel on the skin.

About this ingredient
Glycerin is a humectant — it draws water to the skin's surface to help skin feel soft and comfortable. Ours starts as USP-certified organic glycerin derived from 100% organic coconut oil, then passes through our ozonation process: medical-grade ozone, generated from 99.9% pure oxygen, is bubbled through the glycerin. Some of the oxygen dissolves; the rest reacts with the glycerin to form stable oxygen-rich compounds that give the final product its distinctive light feel.
You will also see this sold as ozone-infused glycerin or ozonized glycerin. They are three names for the same thing — glycerin that has had ozone passed through it.

How to use
Apply a small amount directly to clean, slightly damp skin — morning, evening, or both. Massage gently until absorbed. Follow with your usual oils, serums, or cream. A little goes a long way.
For sensitive skin, patch test on the inner forearm 24 hours before first use.
Purity, storage, and shelf life
- Single-ingredient: nothing added. Nothing hidden.
- Packaged in glass: protects the product from light and plastic-leach.
- Refrigerate after opening to extend shelf life up to 18 months. At room temperature, use within 90 days.
- Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.
Our process
Kōzōn's ozonated glycerin is made in-house rather than bought in. Ozone is bubbled through organic glycerin under controlled conditions — some of the oxygen dissolves, the rest reacts with the glycerin to form stable oxygen-rich compounds. Over-ozonate and you degrade the base; under-ozonate and too little of the active compound is left. That window is the whole job, and it is why we make it ourselves.
